THE FOOD
Lolito Cantina presents the exciting, bold flavors of regional Southern Mexico cuisine focused on the regions the Yucatan, Oaxaca, Veracruz, & Puebla. with an approachable gourmet, chef driven approach. With inspiration from the coastal towns to the urban centers, the Lolito experience brings the warmth of the Southern Mexico to Minnesota.
We focus on locality, freshness & sustainability through the use of popular Yucatecan ingredients and techniques of smoked meats, mole, barbacoa, masa, dried chile, citrus, habanero, tomatillo, garlic, fresh fish & spices such as achiote, epazote, oregano, cinnamon.
We are focused on providing a unique gourmet experience utilizing fresh, local & organic products as much as we can. We are committed to using humanely raised and antibiotic free meats and seafood. We work with small local farmers and craftspeople to provide the very best products. We are proud to have these relationships and to be able to showcase the excellence of their craft.
Our relationships include Rising Sun Farm, C&S Gardens, Axdahl’s Garden Farm, Beaver Creek Farm & Saint Croix Valley Produce.
THE DRINK
Lolito’s Bar program focuses on top notch tequilas, mezcals, Mexican beers & arid climate wines. Our wildly popular margaritas are some of the best around.
Our expert bar staff prepares some of the best cocktails this side of the Mississippi with every detail being meticulously thought out and prepared by utilizing the best local craft spirits all while giving inviting, friendly service.
